Another
close to flawless album. If Miles Davis's "Kind of Blue"
is an album made in heaven, this is surely an album
made on earth because one can find so much humanity
in it. Even though Miles Davis is also featured in the
cast, one can find so much human emotion in especially
Adderly and Hank Jones' playing. Even Miles Davis has
toned down and become down to earth. The first song
"Autumn Leaves" is just a stunning opening. The rest
of the album has nothing but good jazz. The whole album
is a real treat. Get the MFSL version or the Rudy Van
Gelder remastered version.
