Review
I've always admired Sade's singing. She has a silky,
expressive voice that sounds almost like a nightingale.
Her nationality is Egyptian but she has no accent when
she performs. Her band amazingly delivers a soft jazz
sound that is distinctly Sade's. In fact, Sade is not
the name of the singer, it's the name of the band (just
like Santana). Music-wise, this is the best selection
of Sade's stuff. The highlights are "Your Love
is King," "No Ordinary Love," "Smooth
Operator," etc. Be aware of the warm saxophone
that emanates in some of the songs. You'll realize Sade
has a voice of her own, a voice that charms millions
of hearts.
