Review
Although
a classic, it's somehow overrated. No doubt "Take Five"
is a good song, it is! I saw Brubeck last year when
he came to Cornell to perform. In that performance of
the "Take Five," his drummer did a 8-minute drum solo
which charmed everyone in the audience. "Kathy's Waltz"
and "Three to Get Ready" are also recommended tracks.
In my opinion, this CD is a classic maybe not because
of the songs, but because it's a reflection of history.
