Review
What
a funky album! Herbie Hancock has invented a new brand
of jazz using this album. Funky-jazz. It's George Clinton
meet Miles Davis. "Chameleon" is a classic; this version
is much better than what my classmates performed at
college. "Watermelon Man" is twisted. "Sly" and "Vein
Melter" are cool and mellow. This album would get an
A if "Watermelon Man" was less twisted! Still a classic!
This album opened up a new era of funk!
