Jazz
at the Pawnshop
Review
What can
I say? The classic of classics. This recording was a
70's one. But the quality is superior and extraordinary.
This Swedish import opened up the trend for audiophile
recordings which many people are crazy about right now.
Undoubtedly, this CD is a combination of good music
and great sound. What more can one enjoy when Sweden's
own Arne Domnerus is fanatically blowing his alto sax
or clarient while Lars Estrand is going nuts on the
vibes nearby? This is just a neat entertainment for
people who love jazz and beginners. If there were only
one CD I would have to choose to bring if there was
a fire, "Jazz at the Pawnshop" would be it.
