Review
Marvin Gaye first intended to make a political album
with this attempt. Motown producer refused, said it
would affect sales, because a political album won't
sell. He was proved wrong. This album became the bestselling
album in Motown's history. A historical touch before
Gaye was killed by his father years later. His voice
is soulful yet filled with misery. This is perfect music
for love-making. Any lover will fall in love with his
voice and songs. It's hard for me to single out individual
tunes from this comprehensive set, but managed to recommend
three songs. You will feel the groove and the love.
